Laptop User Friendly Places in SM Megamall

Ever since SM Megamall became WiFi ready, a lot of laptop owners started to troop to the place to enjoy the free connection. But we all know that WiFi isn't the only thing you need if you want to be fully connected to the internet while at the mall. The place where you'll be staying should be laptop user friendly, that is, having free-to-use power outlets for its paying customers. Mind you, there are restaurants and cafes that charge by the hour for electricity use. The nerve of these establishments, 'no? I decided to make this list for your reference, just in case you'll be in SM Megamall and you need to use your laptop for hours more than your laptop battery can handle. Casa Moderna Bakeshop, Naga City

Here's another one of my favorite places in Naga City -- Casa Moderna. Casa Moderna is a quiet little bakeshop and snack stop and it's the place to go for the softest and tastiest Pan Bonete. Pan Bonete is a kind of bread that looks like a bonnet, thus the name. It is best eaten hot off the oven, paired with noodles or ice cream. The bakeshop sells pan bonete around 2 in the afternoon. It was already four in the afternoon when we passed by the place yesterday and pan bonete was already out of stock. We ended up having toasted siopao instead. Last January, I wrote about 3N Bakery's toasted siopao , the one that I bought while in Daet. 3N Bakery also has a branch beside the Naga City Public Market. Casa Moderna's toasted siopao was bigger and it has less filling. It doesn't have a slice of boiled egg, too. Still, it tasted good though I like 3N's more. IMAX Theater SM North EDSA

This post is a bit quite late because my family and I watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at the new IMAX cinema of SM North EDSA last July 18. A week before our preferred screening schedule, I called up SM IMAX to reserve the tickets. We were lucky that we were able to get good seats. I was given our seat numbers and the booking number. The following day, I paid our reservation at the SM Megamall Cinema Administration Office. I was given an official receipt and I was instructed to show the receipt to the SM North EDSA Cinema ticketing staff. Since it was a Saturday, the line queued in front of the ticket booth was unbelievable. Fortunately, the IMAX security guard advised me to just go to the side and call the attention of the ticketing staff. True enough, after a few minutes of confirming our reservation, they gave us our tickets. It wasn't my first time to watch in an IMAX cinema.
