We spent the Holy Week at Villa Martha in Nagcarlan, Laguna. It's been two years since we last visited the place and there has been a lot of improvements to date. We stayed at the biggest room that is part of the big building that was being constructed the last time we went here. Instead of just staying overnight, we ended up staying for 3 days and 2 nights!
The place is quite known in the area because aside from swimming in their pools, guests can also wade in the stream. The resort doesn't use chlorinated water in the pools as their source of water is the stream. The water that flows there come from Mount Banahaw. A word of caution, though. The water can be freezing during the cool months and just cold during the summer. In fact, we did not buy ice to cool our bottles of beer anymore. My brother-in-law placed the bottles underwater and it's already ice cold after a few minutes!
Thanks to Bambi and family for accomodating us for the 2nd time! Here are some of our photos.
